Harper answered all emails and/or texts in a very reasonable timeframe and she provides a quick turnaround of her products. A PERSONALIZED APPROACH
No two couples are the same, and my approach to your wedding photography is highly dependant on what I learn about you as far as your personalities, how you interact, overall style, your priorities, and vision for your wedding day! Whether you're silly and playful or more romantic and subdued, I'll be working to create a collection of photos that represent your unique selves rather than trying to fit you into the same box.

AN EASY EXPERIENCE
The number one thing I hear from my clients is how how easy, fun, and natural their experience was, and that's the way it should be! I firmly believe that being photographed shouldn't be a chore, and shouldn't only be about taking some pretty photos that will make you look nice. Instead, my goal is to create an atmosphere that sets the stage for good memories that I can capture, that will bring you genuine joy every time you revisit your images.

SIMPLE, STREAMLINED PRE-WEDDING PREP
I've streamlined my pre-wedding process to be able to collect all of the information and insight that I need to capture your wedding well without bombarding you with tasks. So while some of my clients like to meet with me over Zoom at least once to get help putting together the timeline and chat more in-depth about plans/vision/questions, some are happier to not be overwhelmed with extra meetings, homework, and tasks to add to the to-do list, and that's okay! I'll be sure to get what I need from you, and take your lead on how much assistant you actually want/need.

DREAMY PHOTOS WITHOUT LOSING THE EXPERIENCE
I'm big on setting the scene (so the lighting and location is photogenic) and giving just enough direction so that you're not lost on what to do, but from there stepping back and allowing things to unfold naturally so that your wedding day doesn't feel like a glorified photoshoot. As much as possible, my goal is to avoid turning any moment that could be filled with meaning, joy and/or emotion into simply a staged photo-op for the sake of a pretty photo.

After you've put careful care and thought into choosing every little detail, everything comes together to help set the scene and tell the story of your wedding day. Capturing all of the details is one of my favorite things, and you'll love the way these photos tie everything together and help to break up the portraits in an album for a prettier display.
