This Catholic wedding began with a sacred ceremony at a cathedral in Richmond, Texas, followed by portraits and an unforgettable reception at Briscoe Manor. It was incredibly important to the couple that their Catholic Mass was documented with intention and reverence, without distraction, so I photographed most of the ceremony using a long telephoto lens to preserve the sacredness of the moment while still capturing every emotion. Their family and friends were completely wrapped up in the joy of the day, and it showed in every tear and every laugh. After the formalities, the celebration moved to Briscoe Manor, where the energy shifted into one of the most electric receptions I’ve ever photographed. The live band absolutely brought the house down, and the night ended with a surprise fireworks show that felt like the perfect finale.
